Oppression affects the soul of the church. Prejudice and discrimination distorts and dwarfs the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and prevents people from

knowing they are indeed the children of God. Oppression of others affects, effects and infects the world-wide church.

Ascension, a Christian support group, is committed to ending racism along with removing sexism, homophobic, and any issue that degrades marginal communities.

We will seek to restore and offer training, spirituality, integrity, balance, character, witness, and wholeness to the LGBT Christian community while networking and

forming healthy relationships.
